ACE National Network

ACE National Network Inc (formerly the Association of Competitive Employment and known as ACE) is the peak body for Australia's Disability Employment Network (DEN). DEN members are specialists in finding employment for people with disabilities.

ACE exists to:
• represent the interests of members at a national level;
• identify opportunities to get a better deal for people with disabilities participating in the workforce;
• educate employers and the public about issues of disability employment.

ACE represents the interests of service providers to government and other stakeholders. We advise, lobby, advocate, provide training, information, events and promote the range of services delivered by the Disability Employment Network.

ACE members deliver specialist employment assistance across almost every region in every state and territory in the country.

Advance Personnel is a specialist employment agency, funded by the Commonwealth Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) which provides quality employment services to businesses and people who have disabilities. Our agency offers a range of recruitment, placement, and training services at no cost to the employer or worker. Advance Personnel has been operating since 1989 and has a proven track record in working within the employment sector.

Advance Personnel has established networks within the employment industry and continues to develop new programs such as job search and employment consultancy. The Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training ( ADCET ) provides up to date and comprehensive information about inclusive teaching, learning and assessment strategies, accommodations and support services for people with disabilities in post secondary education and training.

Australian Employers Network on Disability

The Australian Employers Network on Disability works with businesses to assist them to recruit people with disability easily and successfully by providing information, advice and support.

AEND works with businesses in a collaborative way to assist them to find solutions to their diversity issues and find the best people for the job. They provide opportunities where employers can network to share best practice, brainstorm solutions to problems and discuss disability issues in a neutral environment.

CANaccess

An online directory of services for people with disabilities in the ACT region. CANaccess is designed to assist people with disabilities, and those people who care for and work with them.

CANaccess was created by the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) in conjunction with Disability ACT.

This directory has emerged from a strong public demand for comprehensive and reliable linkage to services in this sector. The CAB is responsible for the administration of this website.

Capital Careers is an award winning, Canberra based, private registered training organisation specialising in the development and delivery of innovative training solutions for business, government and community organisations. They are recognised as leaders in the delivery of nationally accredited training programs and skills assessment services.

Whilst Capital Careers is a commercial organisation, it maintains a strong social focus through its public and community programs.

Activities include delivering vocational training for people who are disadvantaged in our community – particularly those with disabilities.

Centacare

Open Employment

Centacare's Open Employment Program is a small, client focused program which assists people with a range of disabilities to find and maintain employment. Open provides assistance with access to training, job preparation, job seeking and ongoing workplace support.

The Program specialises in helping people with mental health issues and hearing impairment to seek employment. It is funded by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) and operates in the ACT / Queanbeyan and surrounding region. The Program is outreach based and appointments can be made by contacting the Program directly.

Disability WORKS Australia is a charity established to manage the National Disability Recruitment Coordinator (NDRC). Our role is to facilitate the provision of employment for people with a disability by providing employers with access to a single, free, effective contact point for recruiting people with disabilities. DWA had been contracted by the Commonwealth Government to provide this service in every Australian State and Territory.

They offer a FREE recruitment service to employers and provide ongoing post placement support to ensure that employees are successfully integrated into their workplace at no cost to employers.

Established in 1952, Koomarri provides community support, housing and employment services for over 350 people with moderate to severe disabilities and their families in the ACT and surrounding districts.

Koomarri's vision of ensuring people with disabilities lead full and abundant lives is implemented through its Employment and Business initiatives and its Community Services programs.

NDS is the national industry association for disability services, representing over 600 not-for-profit organisations. Collectively, our members operate several thousand services for Australians with all types of disability.
